PLEASE HELP!!! I have an established 20 g tank w a 50 gallon filter. With foam around the base so the fish dontget sucked up against it....well low and behold my balloon molly managed to get close enough to the one lil spot that apparently wasnt covered. I thought he was a goner. I went to remove him and he was still alive. Barely though. I QT him w a heater and tank water in a 3 g w a lil gravel and added melafix. He is just layingthere upside down and breathing. W occasional fin movement. Will he heal?! Whats the process? Should i add salt also? I didnt put a filter bc i dont want there too b current that bothers him. Im doing manualy airation every few hours. Should i cover the tank so hes not bothered by the light and movement in my room? Please help. I live this lil guy. He even survived hurricane sandy when my tank fell to 50 degrees...
