Well, I think it was some type of fungus and has finally cleared up. Yay!
I'm going to keep him seperated for a couple more days just to make sure. But is otherwise doing good. He still just sits in one spot, not swimming around, but does get excited when I come to the tank

Sometimes bettas can be a tad lazy, mine go through phases, sometimes really active, sometimes they like to just lay in the plants

Well, just stuck him back in the tank, whatever he had is gone. No more of the gray spots!
He is much happier in his 26gal compared to the 5gal he was in. I think he missed his tank buddies
