Ich seems better but...

Hi everyone, I am still pretty new to the site but loving it so far! Anyhow, I bought an baby oscar fish for my new 75 gal. Two hours after putting him in the tank I noticed the dreaded white spots on him, so I took him out and placed him in my 30 gal. A day later my precious severum Chalres had a spot of it on him. Cranked temp to 88 and doing the salt treatment in both tanks. The ich is totally gone from the 30 gal and seems much better now in my 75 gal, only a couple spots left on my serverum. Now that I know its under control and going away how long should I keep the temp up? And should I still need to be doing the salt?

Keep the temperature up for at least 1 week after the last spot is seen. You can continue the salt but it's not absolutely necessary.
