I am treating my tank for ich brought in by a Gourami that died. Using Rid-ich + and cupramine, 33% water change and vacuum gravel every day.

26 gallon fully cycled with 4 platies, 3 cories, 5 glowfish tetras, 5 neons.

Params: 0, 0, 0 and pH is 7.4.

Question: Do I need to remove all the olastic plants and sterilize them?

And should I remove and toss the live floating plants? I rince the live ones in fresh water every day, The platies think it's a salad bar.

Thanks.

No need to sterilize them or remove them as they can't host a parasite.

No the same applies for the live plants.
