I just recently found that a couple of my tiger barbs have ICK...I moved them to a smaller 5 gal. tank....I heard that I can use non idodied salt to help treat the fish, how much salt should I put in the 10gal. and 5 gal. tank to treat them....Also, I have a real pant in my 10gal. will salt kill it?

There was no reason to move those fish, since your entire 10 gallon tank will have ich in it, so ir would need to be treated anyways....now you will simply have to treat both tanks. I suggest 1 tablespoon of salt per gallon in each tank, and slowly (over 3 days) bring the temperature of each tank up to 88ºF-90ºF, and add extra aeration....leave at this temperature for a full 12-15 days, then slowly lower it.
