Injured 12 inch Bala Shark

Hi everybody,

My 4 year old Bala shark hit the side of my tank while swimming very fast and now can lays at the bottom of the tank. It can no longer eat or swim. It may have broken something. it's very sad seeing it like that. Can something be done to treat the injury? Thanks for any help i get.

what size tank is in? I don't think it was the impact, they can take some pretty big hits (like being dropped on the floor and still be okay) If anything were to be broken it might have been a rib(by that I mean one of the inside bones that radiate from the spine)... Nothing can really be done.

Hi,

Its 4 * 1.5 *1.5 Feet (L*w*h) tank. it did hit the side of the tank. it is still alive at the bottom.

oh no!! I hope he'll be ok, I have no advice for you though, sorry!

Thanks. I place it in a Sling with a floater. It is no longer lying at the bottom. Hope it can heal itself.
