Large scale snail die off???

I seem to be losing snails left and right. This morning, I pulled out 6 dead snails from one tank, and 2 from 2 others.

I haven't done anything unusual....Any thoughts? You can see my params on the glass cat thread.

Could be a few things - snails are very suceptible to ammonia and / or nitrite poisoning and I've found they really don't do well at all with high nitrates either. They are also sensitive to any heavy metals and copper will kill them. you might want to bring a water sample to the LFS who can run a copper test for you, but most dechlorinators also bind heavy metals so it really shouldn't be an issue.
Whats the tank temp ? Use any meds lately ?
