Hello everyone,
I recently set up a new 55 gallon as my fish needed a bigger home. The inspiration for the upsize, my Leporinus, was stressed by the murky water on the first day and jumped out of the tank while I was not around. Luckily I found him after my dog started barking and I was able to revive him. He had spent considerable time out of the water however and began losing scales and fin due to dessication, I presume. In recent days the Leporinus has developed cotton like tufts on his wound and I began seeing some minor ich on him and at least two other fish. Does anyone have any succesful experience treating this problem, specifically with Kordon anti-fungus? Did I catch the fungus in time to save my tank (looking at the picture)?
