loach bruised

i have what i was told is a golden loach the thing is after having a pair for about a week or so 1 of them has red bloches looks like bruising but not sure
no other fish in the tank has this mark, any ideas what it is?


i have 5 cardinal tetras 3 rummy nose tetras and a male betta

but i lost him this morning, very sad i'm going to go to the lfs and see what they say there usually very good
