Male GBR with Popeye (?)

My male GBR has Popeye. I swear the males are cursed! I decided to put him in a five gal bucket-
(Being acclimated)
For more intensive care. He's stopped eating and responding, mostly just sitting. I added aquarium salt at dosage plus 1 tsp. any other tips? I'm keeping it warm, ~84
