Mickey Mouse Platy sick or hurt... Please help!

Hi,

My platy is sick or injured. All of a sudden the platy just started laying sideways on the bottom of tank, and isn't swimming properly. The platy did not eat its food either, then the platy just appears to swim to top but with tail up and face pointing down.

Not sure what happend the scales on one side look as though they could be shedding off or another fish in tank bit the platy?

What can I do to help the fish? Please advise.....

It is too late, the platy was found dead this morning.

I'm sorry to hear that. Are the other fish in the tank doing well?

They seem okay, but the swordtail top fin seems to be detiorating? i vac tank and i did 25% water change, with one of those water conditioner tablets, hope this will help the sword tail.
