Aquarium Advice Newbie
Hello...
I'm new to this board, but am hoping someone can give me some advice.
I have a two-month-old 55 gallon tank of african cichlids. For the past couple of weeks, the water in the tank has become milky in color. At the same time a few of my fish have started refusing food, and there is not nearly as much activity in the tank as there has been. There are no outward signs of any diseases on them (bloated belly, white spots, lesions) either. I have tested my ammonia and nitrite levels and have negative readings on both. I also cut back on feeding, did twice-weekly 30% water changes, vacuumed crud from the gravel, used accu-clear to treat the water 3x in two weeks... everything short of doing a ritual sacrifice... but nothing has worked!!! Just today, I lost my nimbochromis livingstonii, and I am afraid this is only the beginning!
What should I do?!!!! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Bryan
