My female silver lyretail Molly Charger has started shivering/vibrating today... I put two new 10 wk old molly fry in the tank and another female Molly is about to drop her fry and Charger hasn't left her side for the last few days. She swims up to the fry and stands partially on end shivering and then swims off and swims around. It seems to me she's showing the newcomers her disapproval of them invading her space...
It's a 29 gallon tank and there's 2 adult mollies and the 2 fry I added today. The fry are 10 wks and 1" & 1 1/4".. The larger fry is pregnant and a quite visible baby belly.
What do you guys think she's doing? Just being moody??
