Mr. Pleco no tail...

Will he live. I recently got another albino bristle nose pleco(3 total now, looking for a breeding pair) but the one that I just got looks like it has no tail!! Will he live??? Very concerned. Also he looke like it eats fine( cucumber and tablets!) and swims fine but it looks like he uses more energy to move!! Help please!!

Can you put up a picture? If it came that way id see about exchanging him. Because buying a sick or unhealthy fish that ends up dying is not a fair exchange

He could pull through. Keep water levels pristine, and try to feed high protien algae waffers (hikari are good) because that will help his body fuel a tail rebuild. Ive seen other fish with literally zero tail pull through 100%. I usually try to find bad off fish in stores cause i feel bad for them. If your good with em, everything should be fine.
