My 2 dwarf powder blue gourami s are hiding at the bottom of their tank deep in the brush and won't come out should I worry

Yeah its been through its cycle and its a 55 gallon tank the ph is 8 and ammonia is .02

What are your other readings and what are you using to test your water? Besides ammonia you still have to worry about nitrItes and nitrAtes. NitrItes are just as deadly to fish as ammonia and high levels of nitrAtes can also kill.

Also, using those test strips to test your water can lead to a lot of headaches. I would recommend using the liquid test kits. They're much more reliable and, in the long run, cheaper.

Gouramis love brush- it is heavy in their natural environment. Check your levels and Google the right ones- make sure they match. If it is i wouldn't worry unless they seem stressed.
