need some help!!!!

i am not sure if this guy was in a fight or what. but yest morn my german red peacock wouldn't come out of hiding except to eat and i noticed a white film over his eye. looks like there is a wound right in the center of it. here is a pic of it, hope someone can help. he is the pride of my tank. so far i did an immediate partial water change and treated with salt.

he is eating fine, and the eye is not popping out like popeye.

Pretty fish. Most likely he was bitten or snagged his eye on something. The eye is capable of healing by itself. Just continue to keep his water clean and keep an eye on him.

Agreed it could be an injury, the best cure for cloudy eye is clean pristine water. I have a cichlid that didn't lose his eye in a fight but rather it got pushed back in his socket a bit. It healed fine other than that and he is still fione today.
