I have a 30 gallon hex that I've had for years. I started with goldies that lived forever! Ok, not really but it seemed like it. I had a tragic cascade of BAD luck and lost everything. I broke down the tank sterilized well and set back up in Dec or Jan. I decided that I wanted to have a tank with more "action" so I went with small schooling fish. Mostly tetra, barbs and my favs: catfish :) Julii cory, albino Cory, emerald Cory, upside down catfish and a bumblebee cat. This week another TRAGIC event, my heater went nuts. Killed everyone but my algae eater. I was sick. 19 dead over night. I consulted with the LPS and have just tonight added new babies to my tank. Just a few to get started back but can't wait to see it all full of life again. Looking forward to advise and help for future issues, it's gonna happen I have that kind of luck!
