My betta fission has been sick for about 2 weeks :{. I recently placed him in a 10gal tank which (you guys probably always read this) was uncycled -.-. I've been keeping him in a 1gal tank for the past year.

At first he was doing fine and being the little explorer that he is, but then he became lethargic. He would stay at the bottom of the tank and breath really hard.

I read some information and did a 20% wc and found out he had velvet. Since then I have been doing 20% wc everyday and also have been treating him with AP quick cure which has formalin and malachite green and adding aquarium salt along with bacteria supplement.

Since then he's just stayed at a corner by the surface to the point were he looks dead. I've kept him covered and for the past week he hasn't been eating. I tested his water today and PH- 7.8 Ammonia-0 Nitrite-0 Nitrate-5ppm and temp is 80F
What have I done wrong and will he recover?
