Platy sick?

Hi,

I have one female platy carrying a ball of something weird white stuff near its anal. What could it be?

a fungal infection or an external parasite, see if maybe you could get a picture for us we'll be able to help you much more

But for now, I would put some additional aeration in your tank and if at all possible, add some aquarium salt. (depending on what else you have in the tank) This will help reduce any additional stress on your platy, any possible secondary infections and help with the gill function.
