So yesterday I added my new fish to my newly (fishless) cycled 100l tank
Added 6 zebra danios and 4 cherry barb (3 female 1 male)
All the fish are bright and swimming around APART from my male cherry who is hiding in plants and not wanting food.
This morning I noticed he had a long White poo coming out of his bottom and he seems to be opening his mouth more than the others.
All the others were ravenous this morning so I gave the tiniest amount of flake food - which the zebras went mad for - and all eat bar him.
I tested the water
Nitrate 25ppm
Nitrite 0
Ammonia 0.5 !!!! Tho not sure why
Have done a pwc but no real change in mr barb
Am wondering if he has internal parasites and if it's worth trying to treat - or is he just a bit sensitive and am I massively overreacting...
Cheers
A xx
