I have a Sarasa comet and I can't figure out what is wrong.
I keep up with the tank, check levels, use a gravel vacuum, do water changes.
I thought it was fin rot but I have treated him 4 times now with metaflix and he gets better for the week of treatment, but after the last day and I reclean the tank it only takes a day or two for him to get bad again. His fins are extremely red and he darts occasionally but no serious change in behavior. I've also cut back on feeding. I have another sarasa comet in the tank that is beautiful and thriving.
45 gallon tank, just the two comets
