red poopy

Hi all. I re arranged some things in my tank ( got some silk plants to replace the plastic ones) . Fish got stressed and white stringy poo was comeing out . So first thing I think of is oh great infection again . They had just come out of one a couple of weeks ago. Well the calico did. So I put so melafix in and a little stress coat and now the poop is solid but red kinda . What gives? Any ideas?

What color is the food you feed them? If it is red or orange then the poo is normal.

I agree with Zagz. Its normal for poo to be colored because the food we feed our fish is usually colored. Likely nothing to worry about.
