red spot on guppy??

I just noticed today that my male guppy has a red spot on it's body?? The temp is 76 consistently, and the ph is 7.2 consistently....evrerything is up to par water quality wise, and I do water changes every two days.
Just curious as to what might be going on??

P.s. this particular guppy usually gets followed around the tank and the other guppies won't leave him alone.

Sure its a male?

Absolutely positive....it's not a gravid spot, and it's not a female. It's a red dot on it's side.
