Aquarium Advice Regular
I posted earlier under general discussion trying to identify some growth on the bottom of my aquarium.

I am now worried that it may be a saprolegnia or saprophytic type fungus. If it is, it doesn't appear to have penetrated the fishes skin, but not sure I would notice yet. They appear to be healthy, and this appears to be a result of overfeeding, organic matter in the substrate, and a 10 day stretch without cleaning or tank maintenance.
So, my question is: to treat or not to treat....and how.
Right now I have simply been doing daily PWC and gravel vacuums. But, it keeps growing back. I am thinking about a UV sterilizer. I have a fully planted tank and it is just now beginning to get established....hate to kill the plants back....
If anyone has any experience with this fungi please help!
