You may have seen previous threads about my sick julii corydoras.

Today, he seems to be in a pretty bad way. I guessed that the zebra loaches had attacked him, so I rehomed them and he seemed no worse, so I assumed i had guessed right.

Today, he seems really bad. He does not seem to be able to hold up any of his fins, and is barely moving. The area around his gills is red. He is in hiding at the moment, and even when other cories bump into him, he stays still. His barbels are completely gone - no barbels at all. Sand Substrate

My water is normal:

Tank size 55 gallons

0 ammonia and nitrite and about 10 nitrate

I have put the temperature up to 80, and did a fairly big PWC today.

All of the other fish are fine

Should I consider euthanising him? He dosen't appear to be happy like the other cories, and looks really ill and lethargic. If I should euthanise him, what would would be the best way?

Thanks

Clove Oil or something
(sorry dont know the proper name)

Use that until he goes sleepy and stops moving around. 10 Mins Usually

Then pour some vodka in the bucket and he wont wake back up.

Easy And He Wont Feel A Thing.

Good Luck If You Decide To Go Through With It!
