So, my Siamese Algae eater got sucked into the Biorb filter cartridge the other night. He was in a state of shock and not moving for a little while. He's since recovered somewhat but I've noticed that half of his tail has been torn off. He's having issues swimming, though he's managed to swim up to the surface to eat flakes but now hides along the bottom and manages to get himself into small nooks under the fake plants.

Is there anything I can do to help him or is it all I can do is to just maintain good water stats? I'm really worried about my little Dj and I don't want him hurting himself on the awful Biorb media :(
