I have a Chocolate Organda called "Rusty" I was doing a water change last week when I noticed she had a red sore under her tail around her bum, I went to the fish shop and they think that she is egg bound and that there is a blockage. I tried massaging her in my hands and giving genital squeezes but no egg release. It doesn't feel like there are any eggs though so I'm not even sure if that is what's happening.
The shop recommended Melafix for the sores and wounds but after a week the red mark below the bum has only become larger. She is eating and pooping fine so no constipation and is acting the same too, active as usual no sick symptoms.

Also we have 3 other fantails and non of them are showing signs of mating behaviour so I think we might have all females?

Does anyone know what this could be? Any suggestions at all would be greatly appreciated I am so worried about her!
