Today I removed some fish from my tank. Had to get the water level pretty low. Afterwards I noticed my featherfin was pretty pale and at the surface of the tank. The water I added was conditioned and at the same temp as the tank. I do water changes twice a week so he's no stranger to them. I'm hoping its just stress but I've never had this happen before in the year I've had him. Even after the couple tank upgrades he's been thru. He's not as pale as he was awhile ago but he's still at the surface. PH 7, ammonia between .25 and .5, nitrate around 2.

His color is back but he's stil l at the surface. He's completely verticle with his nose douching the surface. I don't think its a lack of oxygen because its never been a problem before with the same setup and I just did a water change today.
