Sick goldfish white bump on his head help!

HELP! My goldfish has a a unusual white bump on his head. I recently put him into a new 29 gl. tank. And is now three weeks later he has a bump on his head, i've also noticed that he is less active than he normally is. I have another gold fish in the tank with him and he is showing none of the same symptoms. Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but I'm really worried. Is there anyway I can help him?

Could be the start of Columnaris or Ich (hopefully the later since it's easier to treat), any other unusual symptoms?

No worries just keep an eye on it . Generally if water temperatures are above 78 f this can happen or could also be knew growth. If it turns into open wound than dose with melafix .

Interesting, never knew that. Though hopefully that is indeed the case, always worrisome when your fish seem sluggish

I expienced the exact scenario after I bought a prized ranchu from breeder. He told me it's new growth.
