Sick Gourami

Hello, on Thursday morning I noticed my male dwarf Gourami had two holes on his top and back fins and a wound on the side seems like he burned or something along those lines. He seems a more shy than usual. He's living in a 5.5 gal tank and I normally change his water (half of it) I don't know what it can be or what to add to his water or feed it. Any suggestions?

What else is in the tank with him? 5.5 gal. tank is a bit too small.

He's alone in the tank. Honestly when I first purchased the tank I didn't do any research about what kind of fish I wanted or what it might need. He used to be in there with three ghost shrimps but that was a wrong idea because now they're gone I'm assuming he ate them? He doesn't seem to like company.
