Slime coat?

There is some kind of clear coat around my pleco! What is it? Good or bad?!
 
Maybe post a picture if you could? Every fish secretes a mucoprotein protective slime coat that covers the scales and skin. This slime coat acts as a defense against invasion by bacterial, parasitic, and fungal pathogens. If the fish is secreting a excess then something is irritating it, something is triggering the first line of defense.
 
As soon as I got home it was gone! Maybe it was the snails eggs?
