Suspected dropsy?

I have one Cardinal Tetra with what I suspect is dropsy. I have read that there is no cure for this. What is the best course of action I should take for the benefit of the fish in question?

Pretty hard to cure a small fish.

You could check water chemistry just in case. Could also try an Epsom salt dip (1 tablespoon to a gallon) for 10mins or so.
