My fish has some sort of swim bladder problem. He is only a neon tetra. but hes floating sideways and swimming upside down near the bottom. I put him in a quarantine tank, but nothing has happened for 2 days and hes not eating. Is it too late to save him?

I have read that some neons are just genetically like that because they are so mass produced. Did it happen recently ?? One of my neons has swam crooked his whole life. He still eats and acts fine, just swims awkward haha

Yes, he was normal, but he started swimming sideways about 3 days ago.

You might try not feeding it foe a few days to see if that will clear it up. How are your water levels? Anything else unusual going on?
