tank emergency

In trying this treatment for my own tank, I'm seeing some evidence that my heater is struggling to reach 30 degrees consistently. (It's the default heater in a geo system 60.) This isn't good.
 
funny you should say that.

my heater is turned all the way up and 86-87 degrees is all she does.
 
Have you been thinking two heaters, too?

At least yours is at 86--mine's having a hard time exceeding 82-84, and the ich will survive that.

not necessarilly 2, but maybe a heater thats better than the one i have.
 
Well, im on day 4 of my high temp treatment and i have yet to see evidence of ich. that dot that was on 1 of my minor tetras just turned out to be a bubble. other than my crabs escaping (have a thread dedicated to that situation), everything is a ok.
