Tetras Not Eating

My Cardinal tetras are not eating. I am feeding them flakes but every time I put flakes in they just let them float by. Am I feeding them the wrong food or are they too traumatized. I got cardinal tetras about a day ago and have not eaten any. Should I change my food or is the fish?

They won't eat for 1-4 day's after buying them because they are still acclimating to the tank. Remove the food from the tank, wait a few hours or the next day. Starvation will overcome they're shyness and fear of you and they will eat.
