Thin yoyo

I have a group of 5 yoyo loaches in my 55 gallon tank. 3 look well fed and are very active. 1 looks thin but is still active, and 1 is very thin and doesn't move to much. The really thin one doesn't even go after any food when it is feeding time. Is there anything I can do?

My tank always is

Ammo: 0 ppm
Nitrite: 0 ppm
Nitrate : <25 ppm
Temp: 81-82

"Wasting" disease is unfortunately common in many species of loaches. I would treat all the fish with a anti-parasitic medication such as Levamisole, I'll post a good link from Loaches Online.

Where could I get some? I live in rural Ohio if that helps.

We have farm and feed stores locally called Farm n Fleet which has it and is used for pig deworming, it's the same stuff but cheaper. Otherwise call around to any of your local pet stores amd some of the older stores may carry it.

Sadly the really sick one passed today . However the other one is doing better.
