Turtle with fungal problems

While I was away our freshwater turtle has developed fungal problems. I wanted to know the best way to cure this.

I have already done a water change and cleaned out the canister.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. TYIA.

Maybe a mild salt water dip?

I ended up using a soluable block which medicates the water, but was hoping that some experienced herp.'s would be able to help with some specifics.

Is it still basking well? Is the lighting you are providing sufficient? A lot of stores sell a sort of medicated cream you can try, but if it doesn't clear up soon, if the turtle starts to loose appetite or anything similar...I'd get it to a Herp Vet soon.

It has improved. It is more lively and is eating well. I think it is on the mend. I'll be keeping a close eye on it.
