(URGENT) male guppy listless and not eating... only symptoms.

One of my males hasn't eaten in 6 days, and he's becoming more and more inactive and listless. He's in a year old 10 gallon tank with about 7 other females and 1 other male. He has no other symptoms, and I'm afraid he's on the verge of dying soon. I just quarantined him in a 1 liter and added 2 rocks of API aquarium salt...

This is getting urgent, because he's an important male in the strain. Does anyone know the problem and the cure?

I still consider myself very new and have had a 29 gal for about 6 years, which has seen a lot of changes and two moves. One fish has survived through that entire time, and I will say that I found that 10 gallon tank I had before this one very hard to keep balanced. But then, I was VERY new then.

Hopefully this bumps the thread and someone with guppy experience can chime in. I am sorry you have a sick fish. Wish I could be more help.
