BETTA OF MINE HAS FUNGUS AFTER I CHANGED HIS WATER ALMOST 2 DAYS AGO WITH PUBLIX BRAND SPRING WATER. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Why are you using spring water? Tapwater works just fine. Spring water (depending on the source) can have lots of heavy metals and other things in it. Did you treat the water before using it? Was the water temp the same? A fungus is easily cure with a fungal med (there are several). You need to figure out why your betta fell succeptible to the fungal spores.

what size tank is your betta in? You can treat with antifungal meds but fungus is a sign of poor water quality. You may want to do more frequent water changes after you cure the fungus.

I have always used the spring water for my emergency water changes and such. My fish have been doing great with it too. I just noticed it this morning when i was about to leave for school. My tap water is crap and is really bad for my fish. He's in one of those bettaHex things. Sorry bout the CAPS

Did you add a declorinator in the tank?

no dechlorinator. never needed it with this water. I've used it plenty of times before with no problems
