How can I treat for velvet when I have snails?

It's obvious on one of my platy girls, but assuming the platy, neon and Cory fish all probably have it then?

Please help! Thank you!

Can you remove the snails into a separate container for the duration of treatment?

As long as you don't use a medication with copper, or salt you should be able to treat with the snails in there though.

I could, but I thought copper could activate in the future from the substrate, etc and kill them?

What is the best non-copper medication to use?

I never knew that, but I also never use copper based medications.

I don't think most medications have copper in them, but here's a list of good active ingredients to battle velvet without copper; malachite green, Methylene blue, formaline, and acriflavin. Leaving the lights of during treatment will also help.
Again, those are active ingredients, not medication names, but one medication I almost always use for everything that works really well is Furan 2, I believe it has malachite green and definitely doesn't have copper in it
