So my redcap oranda has this weird pimple thing behind his wen and I have no solid clue on what it is.
Someone around here said it is fish TB (he is already in a seperate tank due to a recent ich incident). But I want to be sure before I do anything.

I will post a picture below with the pimple thingy in it.

Things you may want to know:

-I change ~50% of the water weekly (75% at most).
-My fish have a varied diet.
-Yes the tank is big enough (I had that question before).

I have some (low quality) photos here

Thank you for your help already

Research "Lymphocystis" and see if that applies to your situation.

Thank you for your input. This is however not what I meant. Lymphocystis look way bigger and more aweful to be honest. The thing my fish has is smaller, he best thing to compare it with is a pimple like humans can have.

So here is a little update:

-The pimple-thing disappeared.
-One of the eyes seems to bulge a little outward.
-A couple of scales look scuffled, like a new pimple is coming from underneath.

Otherwise the little man seems healthy. No weird swimming behaviour, still good eating.

I still don't know what it is. I looked at all your input but nothing looks exactly alike...

I hope anyone has other ideas because I am about to run out...

Kind regards,

Louis
