What is wrong?

Can anyone suggest a heater? I might be able to take a trip into town friday night and pic up one at petsmart. I think I read somewhere that I should try some paraguard to help fish heal. If I am wrong about this please let me know. So far I think I will try this plan:

Tomorrow- 25% water change replace carbon add additional salt
Friday get a new heater and also treat with paraguard start slowly raising heat
Sunday- 25% water change... continue paraguard as needed.

I highly recommend getting a submersible type heater. That way you don't have to worry about the water level ever getting low and causing it to crack. I wish I remembered the brand I have, it's a submersible heater that slides onto the filter intake tube. Very adjustable and works great.

Don't put carbon in if ur treating with meds. It'll make them useless.

ty was not sure of that with the paragard as I have never used it before.
