I have been unable to determine what kind of internal parasite this may be. I have several pelvicachromis taeniatus juveniles (hatched June 23rd) that appear to have very small and short red things coming from their anus. They are not eating very well but they are active. I have done some research and cannot find any parasites that are red. I'm assuming they are internal. 48 hrs ago I treated them with jungle's parasite clear and will repeat the treatment tonight. Anyone know what this might be or an alternative treatment I could try??

Camallanus (or is it cammalanus?). Levamisole is the best treatment if you can find it. Try vetrinary or farm supply stores. You could also try jungles anti-parasite food. Much easier to find.
