Whats wrong with my guppy?

My guppy seems to poke behind my thermometer suction cup. he also lays down on the gravel too sometimes. Help?
Take has had fish since yesterday and i used nutrafin cycle on friday saturday and sunday. I got my fish on sunday.

In my experience, when fish begin hiding at the top of the tank it means they are suffocating because there is too much ammonia or nitrite in the tank. You could try to help by doing a 50% water change daily until the parameters drop. I wasn't able to save 2 danios that died during cycling because I didn't no how :/ (1 at ammonia spike and 1 at nitrite spike)

What are your water parameters? Is your tank cycled?

I'm doing a fish in cycle.
