What is this white thing hanging from my neon tetra? She/he's swimming and eating fine. I've had her for about 4 weeks. She shares a 40 gallon breeder tank with 9 other neon tetras, 3 transparent glass catfish, 4 glofish danios, 4 glofish tetras, and 1 male betta. Everyone seems to get along in their respective zones.

How long has it been there for? Growth rate, etc?
Can you remove to quarantine tank. Would a tumour fit or is it more like a blister on the fish?

Could be a parasite as well. Do you notice any tiny worms coming out of the fish vent or gills or anywhere else?
