white poop

noticed some white poop on my drift wood this morning. how do i treat for it and what exactlyt is it?

Are you sure it is poop and not something else? (bits of skin, worms, ???)

looked just like a long piece of poop to me. i have SA cichlids. i got a shipment from rapps yesterday and picked up some keyholes that night so i think its one of them.
