White Spot On african Dwarf frog nose

I just noticed this white spot between his nostrils. He’s swimming and eating fine and not displaying any strange sick behaviors. I treated tank for ick with solution and 82 degree tank.

My understanding they don't get /host Ich.

Is the substrate clean?

Do you have any sharp rock like lava, lace rock?

If you do not have fish in there, I would reduce the temp naturally back to like 76F.

Higher temps generally speed up bacteria growth and fungus.

Clean and uneaten food all the time, reduce food if there is uneaten food. Remove sharp stuff.

I can't really see if it is fuzzy and looks like fungus or peeling could be damaged place
can you see if it is getting larger or smaller/healing?

Also I would do 4-8 50% pwc to get the meds out of there, or run some carbon perhaps with a few pwc.

They are sensitive to poor water quality.

Is there a filter?

What size is the tank?

How long has it been running, how long have you had the frog in there and how long has he has this spot?

Are you familiar with the nitrification cycle? Check out the article in my signature if you would like more info on that. Is the tank cycled?

What other fish are in there if there are any?

They do not compete well with other creatures for food.
