So I noticed a white spot on the tail extension of my Female Swordtail. The white spot and the tail extension was NOT on the fish two days ago. I recently treated ich about 2 weeks ago so I hope it isn’t it. All of the other fish in the tank don’t have any ich-like spots what so ever. Is this normal?

That looks like a fin nip injury w/ fungus growth. Likely no worries. The dead tissue the fungus has rooted on will flake off. Keep the water clean and the problem will likely heal itself. Might use an antiseptic like Melafix.

I will look into Melafix, thank-you for your advice and knowledge!
