Aquarium Advice Newbie
This morning, I checked on my fish tank, and the smallest sunset fire platy had red spots (blood spots?) by the base of her tail. I thought that it was an injury from maybe getting sucked by the filter, so I added 12 mL of StressCoat to my 10 gallon aquarium. About half an hour later, the platy started going beserk. She swam really quickly all over that tank, crashing into fish, the walls, and the decorations. I have 4 platies (one male, the rest female.) The remaining ones seem to have whitish poop.
I have no ammonia. I don't know the readings for Nitrates and Nitrites.
Anybody know why my platy died?
