Worried about overstocking:/

hi, i have a 2.5 gallon tank with 3 wcmm and 2 male endler's livebearers. yesterday one of the white cloud mountain minnows got stuck behind the filter and sadly died. i was wondering if i should buy another white cloud or leave them as they are because i know that when there were 3 white clouds the tank was overstocked. help please!

if you want my honest opinion, even one fish in that tank and it's overstocked. 2.5 gallons is really only big enough for shrimp or snails
